STEEL FIBERS - BUY AMERICA COMPLIANT
Since January 2021, Sumiden Wire has proudly offered Buy-America-compliant high-strength steel fibers for the innovative and growing ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) marketplace. These fibers are produced using steel melted and manufactured in the USA and in compliance with ASTM A820. Our standard product is a 0.008" (0.20 mm) diameter × 1/2" (13 mm) long brass-coated straight steel fiber with an aspect ratio of 65 and typical tensile strengths exceeding 400 ksi (2,760 MPa). Other fiber lengths are available to meet specific project requirements.
STEEL FIBER PACKAGING & SHIPMENT
Sumiden Wire steel fibers are packaged in 44 lb (20 kg) bags and supplied on pallets of 60 bags (2,640 lb total), with smaller quantities available as needed. Produced at our Dickson, Tennessee manufacturing facility, our steel fibers are readily available for shipment throughout the United States. We maintain inventory to support rapid response to customer requirements and short-notice orders. For larger projects requiring more than 5,000 lb of steel fibers, advance ordering is recommended to ensure product availability and delivery scheduling.
